To commemorate Earth Day, my congressman, Erik Paulsen, posts appealing photo ops on social media and bland positive statements about national parks on his website. However, his actual voting record bears no resemblance to the persona he creates online and in my district.
Dear Eden Prairie News and to the person who kindly pointed out all the letters "bashing" U.S. Rep. Erik Paulsen: When Paulsen was elected, there was a Democrat in the White House, a Democratic majority in both U.S. House and Senate. He was part of a vote for moderate and progressive values.
The spring recess for the U.S. Congress is upon us and, unfortunately, Congressman Erik Paulsen continues to avoid holding any scheduled public events in his home district. Instead, he insists on perpetuating the sham of robocalls and, on April 4, a Facebook live video event as a valid substitute for face-to-face constituent interaction.
An open letter to Rep. Erik Paulsen: "Town hall" meetings are something that you have not done for over seven years, since 2010. Believing instead that "phone" town meetings serve the same propose. I have listened to your "phone" town meetings and yet the questions I have never come up, nor am I given the opportunity to ask my questions.
